Misleading the Customer
 
Many credit repair companies promote themselves as credit repair "law firms," and while these companies may keep lawyers on staff, they do not - and cannot - provide their customers the services they would expect from a law firm. Credit repair law firms cannot represent you legally unless they are liscensed to practice law in your jurisdiction. Do not be fooled into believing that an attorney will draft your dispute communications or institute a civil action on your behalf.
